Director - Vincent Geraghty

Vincent has 23 years experience in the Construction industry and gained qualifications as an Electrician and a Refrigeration Engineer. Vincent obtained an Advanced Diploma in Project Management to name some of the qualifications acquired over the last 23 years. He is a Founding member of the Alpha Mechanical Services and Alpha Facilities Maintenance.

Vincent’s responsibilities outside of the legal requirements as Director is to have overall responsibility of Alpha Mechanical Services projects. Vincent adopts a hands-on approach while liaising directly with clients and the design team to ensure budgets are met and that the projects are delivered on time to the highest possible standard.

 

Director - Alan Kelly

Alan is a founding Director of Alpha Mechanical Services and Alpha Facilities Maintenance. Alan’s primary responsibilities are Operations and Quality. He has over 18 years’ experience in the Mechanical services industry and has been involved in a diversified range of projects from healthcare, education, hotel & leisure, office, retail and public sector buildings.

Alan’s day to day responsibilities outside of the legal requirements as a Director is to have overall responsibility of Alpha Facilities Maintenance projects. He adopts a hands-on approach while liaising directly with clients and the design team to ensure budgets are met and that the projects are delivered on time to the highest possible standard.

 

Contracts Manager - Ciaran Finch

Ciarán has worked in the construction industry for over 15 years with experience in mechanical design & project management. His portfolio ranges from office fit-outs to large scale hotels & commercial projects projects. Ciarán has a comprehensive understanding & knowledge of mechanical services, combined with a high level of management in communicating, planning & organising all aspects of a project. Ciarán ensures that all subcontractors adhere to the companies Quality & Safety Management System procedures on site.

Contracts Manager - Kyle Meegan

Kyle has over 12 years of industry relevant experience and a comprehensive understanding & knowledge of mechanical services, combined with a high level of management in communicating, planning & organising on all aspects of a project. Kyle is responsible for the overall delivery of the mechanical installation on projects and liaises with all subcontractors and clients on site to ensure projects are completed within the programme, within budget and are delivered to the highest standard.

Contracts Manager, Small Works - Peter Farrell

Peter has 22 years of extensive experience in the HVAC industry across multiple sectors including, hospitals, OPW sites, hotels and commercial projects. He has a comprehensive understanding & knowledge of mechanical services, combined with a high level of management in communicating, planning & organising all aspects of a project. He brings an invaluable skillset to the small works division. Working closely with clients and suppliers to ensure all small works projects and carried out to the highest quality, on time and within budget.

Health & Safety/Operations - Anthony Geraghty

Anthony has worked in the construction industry for over 15 years with vast experience in health and safety and operations. His portfolio ranges from office fit-outs to large scale hotels and commercial projects. Anthony is responsible for managing the operations and health & safety across Alpha Mechanical Services and Alpha FM. He develops and implements all aspects of H&S within the organisation. Anthony is responsible for all in house Health & Safety training which enables us to deliver a comprehensive service to our clients.

Quantity Surveyor - Mark Donoghue

Mark has worked all across Ireland in the construction sector for 22 years. After qualifying as a Quantity Surveyor in 2015, Mark has worked on projects ranging from large office fit-outs, hotels, residential apartment blocks, student accommodation and pharma manufacturing facilities. Mark is responsible for organising and filing tender documents, equipment quote requests, measuring and pricing, liaising with sub-contractors and specialists, client negotiation, pricing and agreeing variations.

Quantity Surveyor - John Loughrey

John has a wide range of experience having worked in the construction industry in Ireland and Canada for over 20 years. His project experience includes pharma projects, mechanical projects, and design-build projects. John’s primary role involves the preparation and submission of mechanical tenders, including developing project specific budgets and assisting with procurement strategies. John has a keen eye for detail and is always eager to learn how results were achieved on site.

BIM Manager - Joe McCann

Joe has extensive experience in the construction industry. His portfolio ranges from office fit-outs to large scale apartment complexes. Joe is responsible for the administration on specific projects including, but not limited to technical submittals, liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and compiling O&M manuals. Joe is also responsible for BIM co-ordination, production of construction/co-ordinated/as built drawings in CAD.

Project Administrator - John Peter

John Peter is responsible for the administration on specific projects including, but not limited to technical submittals, liaising with clients/consultants/suppliers, and compiling O&M manuals. John assists with updates to project documentation. Co-ordinates and communicate with suppliers for appropriate documentation. He also maintains accurate project documentation and reporting working with the BIM and CAD teams.

Office Manager & Accounts - Gillian O’ Shaughnessy

Gillian is responsible for accounts receivable and also accounts payable. With over ten years experience Gillian is a key player in the success of Alpha Mechanical. Gillian is also office manager, running staff scheduling, payroll and liaises with management, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve queries and ensures all accounts are up to date.

Purchasing Manager - Ciaran Keane

Ciaran Keane has worked in the construction industry for over 8 years with vast experience in mechanical construction projects. His portfolio ranges from office fitouts to large scale hotels & apartment complexes. Ciaran is responsible for speaking to all suppliers on procuring all site equipment including consumable material, plant and hire equipment. Also, to develop purchasing strategies in the sourcing of suppliers and purchasing products, equipment, and services.

Accounts - Claire Geraghty

Claire works in the Alpha Mechanical Services finance department and is responsible for all purchase invoices. She works with subcontractors and suppliers to resolve queries and ensures all accounts are up to date for month end. Claire also looks after office administration, paperwork coming from the senior site team into the office. Claire also works closely with members of the Health & Safety and the Contracts department.

 

Alpha Facilities Maintenance

Alpha FM Manager - Rory Douglas

Rory has over 20 years of experience in the mechanical services and facilities industry. At Alpha Facilities Maintenance Rory is responsible for managing the facilities department, working with directors and staff to ensure every client receives a high quality service. With extensive knowledge of the mechanical and facilities industry Rory can provides support within the whole facilities department. Rory is responsible for managing budgets for Alpha Facilities Maintenance contracts to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard.

Alpha FM Operations - Keith Emmett

Keith has over 7 years experience in the facilities industry. He manages and controls day to day operations of assigned clients in tandem with Alpha FM engineers and staff. Keith builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, internally and externally, through the delivery of high quality services. He actively manages our service delivery received from our clients, to ensure that all specified deadlines and key performance indicators are met as required.

Alpha FM Accounts - Ashley Daly

Ashley works in the Alpha Facilities Maintenance finance department and is responsible for collecting all payments in accordance with payment due dates. Liaising with clients to ensure all issues are handled efficiently and effectively. Ashley is responsible for all aspects of, accounts payable and accounts receivable, liaising with clients to ensure all issues are handled efficiently and effectively. As office manager Ashley is responsible for the overall running of the office.

Alpha FM Maintenance - Rebecca Grant

Rebecca has over 6 years experience in the facilities industry. At Alpha Facilities Maintenance Rebecca is responsible for co-ordination of preventative maintenance tasks with contract customers. Rebecca’s role includes organising the maintenance schedule for the Alpha FM team and subcontractors. Rebecca liaises and communicates with customers for PPM dates, reports, follow up works and recommendations.
