The Premier Inn, Dublin is situated on South Great George’s Street, in the heart of the city. The hotel, named ‘Premier Inn Dublin City Centre’, has a history going back to the 1890s, having taken over a previously unoccupied corner block of the city, that before then was more-commonly known as the home of Winston’s Department Store.

The mechanical services Installation project by Alpha Mechanical Services Ltd. working with main contractor Elliot Group consisted of the mechanical works to four floors over basement to all areas including the kitchen/reception/hotel bedrooms and retail space, with HVRV air conditioning throughout the entire hotel. All new heat recovery ventilation, air handling units. New fire rated ductwork along with new fire dampers and fire smoke dampers. New mains water and cold water storage tanks along with new LPHW plant and equipment. New plant rooms complete with pumps/pressurisation units. New water services/gas services throughout and a new BEMS package for optimum control of the HVAC plant.
